When we look to nature, pearls are formed when a particle or irritant makes its way into a mollusk, such as an oyster. The mollusk fights for quite some time to remove the irritant. Instead, from this fight, a beautiful pearl emerges.
Over the past 30 years and still counting, Michelle has pressed against the grain to walk in her true authenticity as a transformational leader focused on equipping and amplifying others to thrive regardless of their circumstances.
Paragon, simply defined, is 'of quality and excellence'. Michelle is adamant about executing all aspects of the business in this fashion, therefore insisted on this being a part of the company's name and brand.
How did P.E.A.R.L.'s logo come about?
Michelle worked closely with an artist friend for about 6 months until they both agreed to this intersection of art and realism. A representation of the leader and coach's life. There is real science behind leading and coaching but there is also an art, which comes from each leader and coach as they go about learning the science. The mix of the two is what creates exceptional individuals practicing their craft to amplify others.

MLo, nicknamed by a good-natured colleague and friend, is a mother and grandmother first. She has 5 adult sons, 2 daughters-in-law, and 6 grandchildren. Other than her spiritual life, her family is her number one priority.
Michelle grew up in South Central Los Angeles surrounded by diversity and plenty of opportunities to learn from life. In 2010, she relocated to the Austin area, and her family soon followed, where she has planted roots and finally feels like she's home.
Michelle's mission is to move with purpose and has tremendous passion for helping others move out of their own way and realize their full potential. She is a firm believer in life-long learning and spends everyday learning something new from her surroundings.
As a life-long learner, she continues to pursue learning through doctoral studies in organizational leadership and through a variety of avenues for the sole purpose of continuing to grow and help others do the same.
